abit of an update for you lot.
brought the works pressure gauge home from work with me which has just been calibrated.
1st off i checked the filter was full of oil - yes
next i went to the pressure releif/release valve - it was stuck solid.
took me 1hr 25mins to get the fucker out but got there in the end after snappin 3 screwdrivers, a split pin and a crocher (sp) hook.
cleaned the piston and cylinder, checked to see if it is free to move then refitted the valve and plumbed in the gauge from work
started the car up and result! i finally have oil pressure and within a couple of seconds the top end tap became alot quieter.
looks as though you might see this rare beast at the shows this year lol

Great news! Glad it was an easy'ish fix in the end and not a major problem with the oil pressure.
The front looks so much better with the GSi bumper rather than the Reiger.

finally i decided to pull my finger out and get some more work done on the car seeing as if avoided it for the last week lol
my gauge pod arrived so my bro got that fitted for me at the weekend
voltage top, oil pressure bottom
cleared out all the shit and tools thats accumelated over the last few weeks
2 batterys (one in the box will be gettin moved behind the seat)
steering wheel and new tvr stalks
couple more engine bay shots
and how it sits
after clearing it out i started it up t make sure the oil presure is still ok and to make sure the volt gauge works when the alternator is charging.
its abit smokey atm when its reved but that should clear when i take to for a drive (poss tomorrow eve after ive changed the oil + filter) n refitted the thermostat housing because i think its leaking from there slightly
hoping to get some good photos on saturday after a really good clean and hopefully to show off its new look also
