i can't help but think it would be such a better project if all your efforts were put into something better than a corsa though! but plenty of time for that eh

Shaun, have you sorted your tracking out yet?? best way to get it somewhere near is to use a fence post from the rear wheel (making sure not to mark the wheels), butt it up against the front and get an idea of how far out it is and adjust.
Top work as always Shaun though, cant wait for the next installment.

Thanks guys
Lee, I know where you're coming from yeah. I sometimes forgot its an 11 year old car now and my money/time probably could go into something newer and better but what can I say, I love this car to bits Plus I'm a proper perfectionist lol so I'm not one to do things by halves.
Generation, I try and sort something out for you mate yeah. To be honest I'm still a bit unsure about all the vac + brake servo pipe connections so I'm probably gonna need some help with that myself.
Dan, cheers bud. I don't know how long its gonna stay this clean for lol. Going to really have to keep on top of the cleaning! Are you going to PVS this year? If so we'll have to catch up
Alex, Might be some updates at the weekend maybe
Adam, Nah I have had chance to look at it yet mate. When one wheel is straight the other one is close to full lock lol. Good idea though, I'll have a go at that! Just need to get it straight enough so I can drive it to a garage and get it done properly

Well i'm just passing on Information that my Dad tough me when i started out!
Are you sure you had the Steering rack in the right postion when you "Fitted" it? not sure how many turns lock to lock your rack is meant to be, guessing you've put a Sport one on? does sound like something isnt quite right.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem to sort Adam. Just need to adjust them in slightly Enough that I can get it to go half straight anyway lol.
Done more to it today I've now connected the rack to the column and fitted my new clutch cable (cheers to Dan-Sport for that ) as I broke my other one taking the engine out.
I did plan to fit the exhaust today but I thought my time would be better spent taking the dash apart so I spent the afternoon doing that. Well relatively smoothly tbh! Only issues I had was the hazard switch and the fuse panel which were both right twats to get out!
The dash it now completely stripped and ready to remove one night next week
All the stuff thats been removed!
Couple of snaps of it out of the car port for the first time in god knows how long! Looks very sorry for itself, covered it dust
I've raised ride height right back up to just -40mm now at the back as well ready for when its goes for its MOT.
Finally I bought some new sport clocks for it as well

Cheers for the comments
Ben, your right mate yeah. I wish I'd done it when I changed the seats over now. Will be a pain taking everything back out but like you say it would be worth it.
Thanks Taylor! I've been marking all the wires on my old loom so I know what does what on the new one. Should hopefully make it a bit easier. I'd like to have the dash loom done by the end of next week so I can then fit the engine loom.
Fingers crossed for you Mark. Lets hope this is the last of the trouble eh, been a right nightmare for you!
Cheers Dale, I need to get my arse in gear with it tbh now if I want it done for pvs! Ideally I need it finished by the beginning of May as I've got to get it mot'd as well. I can see it being very tight for time. I've got two weeks off college as of thursday so I can really crack on with it then

Nothing exciting John, just a new loom so that I can plug my 1.6 engine loom straight into it without having to chop wires here there and everywhere
