I'm pretty interested in this, what do I actually need in terms of equipment, supplements etc? Is there a list or something?
My list...
Equipment
Pull up bar
Push up bars
Weights (I got Bowflex ones)
Yoga mat
Yoga blocks
Heart rate monitor
Supplements
Multi vitamins
Protein Powder
Omega 3 fish oils
L-Glutamine
BSN No-Explode
I don't fancy forkin out loads for weights, is there a certain weight used in the program or do they vary? If so, up to what weight?

Vary depending on your strength and aims tbh, Ive used from as low as 5kg (first week) up to 16kg so far.

Well I used to chest press around 16kg (each arm), and 8kg for flys. Will these suffice; clicky

Bit late in posting up, Day 18 done. Boring ass Yoga.
Well past half way now in Phase One and def noticing the difference, both in the amount Im doing in each workout and when I look in the mirror. Day 30 pics should be interesting but holding off until then to take some and compare to day zero.

I've not started yet. Got all the stuff ready to go.
Don't have a finished kitchen yet so we currently don't have a fridge. I'm not for messing around with chicken and no fridge.
With Christmas rapidly approaching I'm looking at a \january start. Very motivated to do it, just not the right time to start yet.

To be honest over xmas the pain would be having to lug all the kit about with me as I'm not going to be at home all the time.
Drink isn't an issue as I hardly ever drink anyway.

Shoulders are feeling it today from Weds workout, didnt feel a thing from them yesterday!
Legs and back tonight, killed me last week as I really upped the weights I was using on the rises, etc.
Oh, and my powder form of L-Glutamine just got delivered so will start having that instead of the tablets and see how it goes.

I'm looking forward to next phase as I'll actively start increasing my consumption...
I've probably definately lost weight this round but not sure about gained that much muscle... which isn't too bad as that's what my goal in the first phase was... the next 2 phases will be core bulking... and the diet will reflect that.

Aye, the first phase is to cut the initial fat and prepare you for the next 2 phases, those are both to build the muscle and keep on cutting the body fat %.

also, owuld rather do a bit of running than yoga, so hopefully can sort that out.

Why? This'll build your muscles!
Just finished Day 19, which is more or less the end of the main part of phase 1 (just one day of cardio then a 'rest week'). I will be doing a second week 3 though (not calling it week 4 or will confusing on the chart!) and then have my rest week before starting Phase 2.

Well thats the 3 main weeks of Phase 1 completed, should be a rest week now but will redo this last week (I think just the once) and then do the rest week before moving on to Phase 2.

i have just downloaded the dvd & i am even more confused now. i have a few questions if someone could answer.
do you basically just follow the master schedule? i.e day1 chest & back & ab Ripper & then put the relevant video on and just follow that?
does it tell you on anything when to take the supplements? i.e time of day
anything else i need to no?

Yup, if you have all the files that come with it then follow the P90X plan, so Day 1 is Chest and Back, Day 2 Poly, etc. Thats the first phase that lasts 4 weeks (3 full on, 1 recover), same for phase 2 and 3.
As for the nutrition side, read through the nutrition PDF that you should of got if you downloaded the whole thing. It'll show you what your diet should be (as will reading through this thread and seeing multiple members diets).
As for supplements, it only really suggests a protein shake, protein bars (I dont have them), and a recovery drink. All of which are talked about in this thread.
On top of that people are also having multivitamins, omega3 fish oils, and Im also including L-Glutamine as have seen it recommended a lot.
