Yeah I'm hoping it passes too, hope it doesn't fail on anything pricey as I'm bloody skint once I pay for insurance! I'll just drive it straight to work and leave it there if it fails tbh.
C/C front bumper and silver wheels? , it's bits I done a while back but never updated, which is why its in its old guise
Put it under the battery, hidden is better
Throwing a sicky tomorrow, whats my chances of completing most of that list?

Yea, some of it is daft stuff though just as a reminder to myself so I don't forgot, some of it will literally take no longer than a minute to do! Just the headlight alignment etc I can't get done yet as no insurance. Don't think I can legally take it to get it done until I have a failure sheet either They can gtf with that law though
Cheers.

There not a standard fit but they did go into the holes that are already there with a bit of force, not a perfect fit but there good and tight!

Not bad, didn't get as much done as I would've liked as had a slight set back Instead of getting stuck into the work that needed to be done for MOT I remembered that I had an air leak as my ECOtec pipe was ripped , tried to sort that, ended up spending an hour in the scrapyard finding a suitable pipe, which had to be bodged anyway! So that slowed things down massively!
Anyway, got into position for a day of molesting
Nice new battery
Dropped out the old oil, was supsrised at how dirty it was, hasn't done a single mile from this was put in.
No more hole here
And tarted up the wheel well too,
Got a few other things checked off too,
Buy and fit battery. Done
Buy and fit number plates Bought
Flash ECU for fault code
Headlights aligned, plus need secured at the bottom.
Wheels balanced.
Tighten suspension top mounts. Done
Bleed brakes again.
Disguise rust hole in wheel arch some how? Done
Rear reflectors for boot
Fix side repeater
Fill window washer bottle (I would probably forget if I didn't type it ) Done
Clean ICV Done
Change oil Done
Fit wipers Done
Not alot done , I'm such a lazy cunt

About half an hour in the pissing rain yesterday, they hadn't been working for months so I forgot which one was which , I was under the impression that the top one was the tail lights

Ah, I forgot I had that , forgot I had the chrome heatshield and bolts too Will get them on soon , thanks for reminding me

, the move has actually been delayed until the end of this month so got stacks of time to do it now, hence why there has been no update in 2 days
I should add that its running like an absolute bag of spanners atm , hissing like mad from somewhere, sounds like an air leak. Took about 20mins to get it running tonight and it was rough as fuck. Strange thing was if I closed the bonnet the engine would die :/ as if I was suffocating it. Hopefully not to big of an issue.

Don't sell it you fool. Could just be a perished vacuum hose somewhere. I'm sure a man of your calibre could find that x

I'm just sick of it not running right tbh, fed up with it. Today was my 3rd attempt at trying to find it using various methods that I was told and still couldn't find it. Only other thing I can think of is stripping the inlet manifold off and changing the gasket. If that doesn't work then I have no idea Or else taking the engine out

There's actually no pipe there at all atm, the air is going straight into the AFM, don't think that's the cause off it though, or have been a complete twat again?
