what wires have you got in then. You should have a live from the battery going to the starter and alt the starter trigger from the car loom and an earth from the engine somewhere back to the battery. Unless they are on wrong it cant be anything else

Connect a + and - directly to starter and see if it turns.

i have a positive going to the starter, then onto the alternator.

the trigger is on.

also have the negative from the battery going to the starter

for some reason i think you have the starter trigger on the wrong one. Theres 2 small pins one has a small jumper wire on it you should have it on the one with nothing else on it and then your main battery live on the big one.

fuck knows then. Check your starter trigger then and stick a tester on or somethin make sure you got 12v coming from the car for the trigger. Try puttin 12 from the batt to the trigger. Apart from that i dont know fella. All you can really do is make sure the wires have a good solid connection especialy the earth

not sure if that helps me much you should have your main live on and the trigger wire on should only have 2 wires onto the pins on the starter your earth should just be a general earth like to one of the gear box bolts or similar

this might sound a stupid question but have you got the little earth coming from the battery going to the fire wall by the coolant bottle?

i had a conversion with the same problems and it was that earth

the earth cable on the main loom should bolt up with the starter but not attached to a connection on the starter if you can understnd that

the main earth from the battery is going to a connection on the starter at the moment
