1970 Triumph Herald 13/60

Engine fires first time, even after 35 years, has full s/s exhaust from a triumph spitfire, high lift cam and performance carb with K&N... bloody thing has more power than my corsa

Bodywork and chassis is in desperate need of renovation tho, so thats this summers project.

Gonna be lowered on Konis, £70 quid a corner, anthracite respray with minilite alloys, maybe tinted windows....

It's actually true about it havin more power too, got a rolling road results sheet for it, think it was 80 bhp at the fly

It's great - finding time is the hard bit.

And some fool owner before us has gone round the chassis (it's not a monocoque, has a proper underbody chassis) and wherever theres a hole rusted, he's injected expanding foam, so have to burn/chisel/scrape that out before I can start welding it up again
