Excellent. What's the situation with the rest of the stuff? Do you want to phone me to arrange collection/delivery?
BTW, Charles and Mark still wouldn't mind a chat with you if you get the chance?

Update time.
We got some proper work done today, which I think is entirely down to my assistance
One shiny head.
Old trumpets vs new ones
Then the proper work started, bolting the TBs to their new home.
These aren't in the right order now, I'm saving the best 'til last.
We bolted the fire extinguisher in, which was a pain in the arse because of the seats but we soldiered on and got it in, with funky lightweight aluminium bolts and rivnuts (the bolts are Brocade yellow, at least something is the right colour on the car )
Then we mounted the battery tray, which meant taking the seat out
Those seats are NEVER coming out ever again, it was a right pain in the arse job.
Took one of the rear beam too, to show the real colour (it's VERY bright!)
aaaaaaand, the pièce de résistance....
IT'S GOT AN ENGINE!!!!!! sort of
The head is on the block, but it's not bolted down yet.
It looks fucking amazing, the pics don't show it off very well.
Apologies if the pics are shit, I was using my old camera and the light wasn't too great.
It's so exciting

Oh, we put the cam cover on so no-one can see the cams because it's cool to have secret engine specs

He cut some bolts down, then attempted to do some drilling, that was about it.

no idea to be honest, removed shed loads of weight, however the cage, fire extinguiser and other bits fitted soon make up for the losses!

I've had a thought about the petrol tank...
How are you going to fill it up if it's staying where it is now? you won't be able to reach it from the boot, and the seat is in the way from the door
