RVP thing needs to get sorted.
If he stays without signing a new contract he is going to have to be at the top of his game as the fans will start to get very vocal.

Wolves reject £12m bid for Fletcher?! Please tell me that was a typo by SSN.
I think this RVP thing has dragged on far too long, i'd love him at United but really can't see it happening at all.

Sahin to Liverpool? Would be a cracking piece of business even on loan.

Wouldn't mind Sahin at all, however we do seem to be gaining a lot of midfielders

Do you remember last year when we all thopught we had too many though
I'd be made up with Sahin but really suprised if he chooses us over Arsenal. I also doubt the Tello loan will happen either tbh.

I'm not convinced of the logic of us bringing in Sahin tbh... if Wilshere is short term then we can cope and the thought of taking a RM player on loan to keep him fresh for RM seems somehow wrong. Good player no doubt but if Song goes (as is looking more likely) then would be much happier if we go back for M'Vila (Rennes have significantly dropped asking price apparently - as seen in a paper this morning, dodgy reputation at 10m is very diff to dodgy reputation at £17m lol)
RVP to Utd is an odd one. £25m+ and I think we'd be laughing all the way to the bank, as much as i seriously dont want us to sell anyone to Utd (much prefer City tbh!) taking £25m+ off them for a 29 y/o striker with an interesting history of injuries would be good business as not only do we get lots fo money but they cant spend £25m on a plsyer that they realyl need to strengthen their team
IF he stays (I think its 50:50 atm tbh imo iirc) then think we shoudl take captaincy off him and i suspect he'll be in for a rough openign few weeks but if we get past Aug 31 and hes still an Arsenal player then dont think anyone will give him stick provided he appears to be trying and knucklign down etc (apparently hes been excellent in training thus far, not goign to Asia aside!)
New contract... seems unlikely but if he did then again, difficult first few weeks but if he works hard and starts banging them in again then im sure we'll be singing his name again :/
Most excited abotu this weekend as Mo Farah will be at the Emirates As well as a boxer and IIRC Greg Rutherford (not 100% sure on that one though)

If we get him we are going to end up paying too much. Unless he helps us win the league then it will be worth it
What has happened to Wilshere exactly? Is it still his ankle or something else now?

something else only a small niggle. he wont be back properly until the new year at a guess... due back in 'october' but then will suffer the usuals for a short while. if we sign Sahin, i suspect Wilshere will go on loan in new year to get fit, like ramsay did. awful awful situation for probably the best young player in the world

my thinking has changed a little to incorporate your first point, we may be strengthening you but at the same time we are stopping you (probs, unless the glaziers suddely pull mass money out their arses!) from strenghtening where you really need to!

Out of the big clubs Arsenal have done the best business on paper. City have only brought in Rodwell, Chelsea spent a lot but I'm not convinced and we haven't done much either really.

He's clearly been banned for something probably drugs. But as he's the future of England the FA want to keep it quiet. "ankle injury"
