Very true... same if you compare the Astra to all other options, it handles blandly, moves slowly, IMO the only thing it has going for it is the looks

You would be mad to buy any astra now, as the new marque is imminent - you'll lose alot of money straight away.
Plus, imo, Astras are v.boring in every way. Poor engines, they have to bolt a turbo on to the 16v's to make them respectable. Styling is old hat, 5 years or so old now, and just crap, its a squashed vectra. For 10-13k i'd get something older, like a nissan 300zx tt (i have one).
Mad buying a vaux, money down the drain.

Might get one of these in Silver with Sat Nav and Climate control..... 14k what you reckon.....
Giving me 6750 for mine so will have only lost 750 in 7month and 10000miles and a scratch in the front.

Type-Rs are slow up the 1/4 so the GSi must be s-l-o-w

Ctr very nice, but not very usable.
Astra has 250nm!
PMSL!! Not very useable... Put it this way, the civic has a n/a 2l with 197bhp copared 2 the 2l TURBO in the Astra that gives it 192bhp
As i said above Phase 3 upgrade

Whats radical about seat styling then? (Not saying I don't like them but imo Astra is more noticable)
looks different from other models in the range by a lot. the GSi does not
That's only because base model seats look pants,
and you can't make a seat look this good
2.2 sri. not much different
Eh
Different whees, skirts, bumpers, spoiler
Anyway that was not my point, pls read what i said again
U still haven't answered me vibrio
that 2.2 sri is not hugly different from the GSi
So your telling me my car looks like a GSI
