yes true i think its £300 tho

check this update

a guy rang my work stating my name and said i was doin 50mph (only ppl who had my details were the other drivers bf) strong birmingham accent my mate on the desk said

now the straight where she hit me is no more then 60 yards i doubt
i have a 1.0 engine and standard it does 0-60 in 19seconds.. so unless i booted it in 1st and 2nd its 200% impossible plus i wasnt booting it i dont or turn music up cos it attracts attention in places where i leave the car

u can hear me coming cos of my loud exhaust and makes the car seem its goin faster.. but silly cow who hit me stil didnt hear or see me.. didnt stop just pulled out.. i cant even think y they wud wana try and contest me as i have these point blank facts counterin any speed claim

thats shocking!!
they are obviously gonna try and avoid blame mate but at the end of the day even if u were exceeding the limit she should have given way.

an assesser will see that uve been side impacted in a way which pushed ur wheel back etc and they can easily tell wot the situation was....

my bloody point exactly she was doin some speed cos the dent goes in 6 inches and the whole axel is bent back around the same.. the alloys dented by 3 inches and the tyres punctured.. not a 10mph hit!

and now they tryna get me in trouble at work sayin i was doin 50! my car dont reach 50 in that shorta space of road

I know how your feeling to an extent.

This time last week some girl and just hit my Corsa C SRi which i'd only had for nearly 2 weeks and earlier that day i'd just paid £80 for valet! GUTTED!

I was doing nearly 40mph and she pulled out from a petrol garage as if to go past me on the other side of the road and she must have forgotten to straighten up her steering wheel as she carried on turning and went into the drivers corner of my car!!

What a smash! Her car got pushed backwards and back across her side of the road and up the curb and lucky for ABS as i just got pushed near the curb my side.

I still shake now thinking about it, both me and my mate have got whiplash. not nice!

I hope she feels bad!!!!

sorry to hear about your car mate. and dont feel stupid about panickin and stuff cos evry1 does it - i know i have!

as far as where the fault lies, its obviously her fault.....and if it gets to court then a strong point on your side is that she was inexperienced havin only just passed her test.

and regardin the speed.........some of the other guys on here mite be able to correct me but as long as you werent drivin carelessly (which it sounds like you werent) you didnt break any laws? i've heard that on private land such as supermarket car parks, any "speed limit" is only an "advised maximum speed" and not an actual legal speed limit? mite be wrong but worth checkin out....

and like evry1 else on here has said.....dotted lines means GIVE WAY! and she didnt even look, and ur witnesses will prove that. and like one of the other guys said on here even tho you both have witnesses, your witness actually SAW the FACT that the woman did not look...which would have been obvious to them....whereas her "witnesses" ( ) can only have estimated your speed.....

really hope this all sorts out in your favour mate

keep us posted
