carragher is a no frills defender very good at what he does.
kirkland absolute quality and a certain england no.1 in the near future

not sure on gilberto. hes the same as kleberson at united i think they both were only bought cos they were in the brazilian world cup winning squad.
theyve not proven there worth as of yet imo

I would (if I were Wenger) let Parlour/Keown/Kanu/Wiltord/Gilberto go and bring in Pennant/Reyes/Mexes (Auxerre)/Aliadiere (looks liek an outstanding talent)/Bentley//Senderos
I would however loan pennant to a team like Spurs (not spurs tho) until Xmas and loan bentley to a team like Leeds for a season to get experience... same with Cesc/Hoyte/Thomas/Garry
i agree mate, it will be a perfect time to get rid of the dead wood - like you say

i would also add

but if he is to get rid of the above he will need to bring in the same amount if not more.

I would keep Lehmann but make Taylor no1... No not Paul Robinson... worst goalkeeper in the premiership IMO... I like Jaaskalinien

lehmen was good for this season but he needs to find someone who will be regular for the next 5/6 years.
i would like to see us do well in the champs league so we can compete for players goin to man u/chelsea
