ye its annoying i have to wait, but i rang nowich up and i need to go to the cop shop to get the exact time and date of when i was pulled and then norwich union will send me a letter of proof. so before u all say, i was insured the cops knew i was anyway, but theyr jst wasting my time

They are just probably trying to give you a hard time

Hope you got a solicitor mate.. don't know yoor circumstances but i got 14days for no insurance

i dnt need a solicitor, by the 9th of spet i will have proof of insurance so thats fine and im pleading guilty for the other offence

Points, a fine and a 6 - 12 month ban sound about right, thats what you deserve anyway (not to sound nasty, but at least u would have learned ur lesson)

i already have 6 points so i think theyl give me another 6 and giv a 12 month ban and probably a 250 fine or sumfin.

im guessing that after a ban i will have to re-take my test? (again!)

i rang my insuerers up and they asked me to get the eact time and date of when i got pulled over so they could write a letter to the courts. i went to the copshop this morning and the bastards havnt witten a time or a date on the copy of the produce and r still tying to blame me. how can they still try and do me when their own officers ant doing their correct job the officer will have the date in his notebook (apparantly), but he doesnt come back till after my court date. ill still be able to get out of it but its jst more and more hassle

court date was yesterday but if u read the thread ud had realised that it has been delayed till the 9th of spet because they have another offence on me for driving with no insurance

ye thats what im trying to get from the insurance compnay, but iv got to find out the date and time first. but the police are pissing me about. ill ring cout up and try and get it off them.

I would advise you get a good lawyer TBH.

You might be able to get away with it if he/she can show the court all the flaws in the police side of things...?

iv pleaded guilty for the offences on my car, no way i can get out of that. and i will be able to get the proof of insurance before my court date. so i dnt really have any need for a solicitor

Yeah I know but if you have some toff representing you they could point out all the flaws/faults with what the cops have done, jury might be more sympathetic etc.?

not really, iv given up trying to beat the cops. iv realised they CAN do what they want, i jst have to let them now and learn not to question them

BACK IN COURT TODAY!

i finally got a letter of proof of insurance, norwich union kept fuckin up the dates, but the other day i got the right one so im okay with the insurance charge

but im still pleading guilty for the other, i reckon itl be a 12month ban. ill find out soon enough, finally!
