I may have missed somthing but howcome you sold the 2.0 corsa and got the vts? was it due to finance, or just fancied a change?

Mine does think a sensor is fucked

Also driving back tonight... the chuckability of these cars is great... Just throw them into a corner and they'll come out fine... seem to be able to turn so quickly and easily.

Never driven a 2.0 16v - but I'd imagine without decent suspension (considering we're talking standard here) - if you try chuckling a 2.0 16v into a bend on standard or poor suspension it'll try understeering a bit more.

dont think its any sensor problems. from what i understand alot of them suffer the problem.

know a fella here in ireland spen a fortune try to get rid of it and never did.

as for the road holding, i havent met a corner yet that is i couldnt throw it into in the dry

sweet mate, keep it standard tho as lowering may cause driveshaft problems!

loving mine tho, got the daft pipe fixed was part of fuel regualation system. £7

screams round to 7400rmp!!!

raced my mates 130bhp vts, on his bumper to 134 then he kept goin n i was on the limiter!
he claimed it was the hold in his exhaust that meant i could keep up

Limiter is at 7200rpm

Top speed is 128

Lowering shouldnt cause any probs if you do it properly

On the clocks yes, your speedo will be out, top speed for Gti/vts is either 127 or 128.
