fair enough the new fifa may well be better than the new Pro Evo. We'll have to see.

What i do know is that in my opinion Pro Evo has owned the fifa games thus far in nearly all areas of the pitch (see what i did there )

your razor sharp --dave--!

but we are in no position to judge, we must play both games, i will play fifa tonight, and at the end of october early november i have no doubt that we will have played pro evo 5, then and only then can we judge.

we shall put this thread on hiatus (posh word...check me out) and will re-open it in november? agreed?

its more realistic, not graphic wise, but long balls do not go directly to feet 90 times out of 100 like in 05. its a lot more like a real game, shooting is far more sensitive, shots can go miles wide, so aiming must be pin point

another good thing is they have sorted out the corners and free kicks. there's no longer an aiming facility on the free kicks, or corners. free kicks, are so hard to master, i cant get the hang of it, its pure guess work. and corners has gone back to the old fifa 99 style of having an arrow to which direction you want the ball to go and a strength meter to how much pace you want on the corner, also you can do short corners which is good. i think before it was unrealistic, you could score 100/100 free kicks, and on corners it goes to the same player, and the same player scores each time, sorted now though.

there is an EA retro section, for a bit of fun, they have the full fifa 94 game

its amazing!

Surely we have to wait until pro evo 5 comes out because at the moment we are judging the new fifa against an older pro evo. Imo pro evo 4 is better than fifa 2005 but I will have to wait until october 21 (i think) to judge the latest creations.

Winning eleven 9 is much better than fifa so unless they've went back to changing the uk one from the jap one it'll be the same.

They are both good for different reasons.

Fifa come home from the pub with you mates, put it on and have a few games.
As it is easier to play semi pissed. and everyone can play it.

Pro Evo before you go out to kill some time and you want to acculaty play a decent computer team and might lose, so have to be on top of your game.

Pretty sure i've already replied in this topic... BUT...

The game play on Pro Evo 5 is infinitely better than Fifa2006. It's much harder though, even harder than pro evo 4, and i've got to say it's way to easy to give away free kicks which is a pain in the arse. BUT Pro Evo 5 is so much smoother, and just generally looks more realisitic than Fifa06

(got it on copy a few weeks back, before people say it's not been released yet)

got both played both, and i have to say fifa is better, it just feels more genuine and authentic.

Whats all this crap about it being too easy anyway? is every1 playing it on amateur?
