It can be repaired, would just need welding up, but if your thinking about getting your engine into a facelift Corsa I would go for that!

He meant you could only re-shell the car by putting everything from the car onto a brand new shell and getting it stamped etc. to maintain authenticity.

If you bought another 2nd hand car and wanted to use it's shell you'd have to retain it's own identity (reg. etc.) and just use the good bits like the engine and box from your original car.
