Hope he lives and makes a full recovery!

Is it just me that wonders why was he driving a jet car trying to break the British Land Speed Record when most of the people that attempt this sort of thing have had years of experience before attempting anything like that.

Top Gear have always done things like this. Didn't Vicky Butler Henderson ( ) do a blind speed run on Fifth Gear.

GSi + Panel filter = 350+ MPH with out an problem.
