its getting there now!
todays update - 100am til 10pm
when i went out to my car this morning i was greated by a slight covering of snow on my car
this is the mess i left the engine in last nite
then i cleaned up the mating surface of the block and fitted the head gasket
i then fitted the head and started to plumb in the hoses and wiring for the inlet manifold
i got abit carried away n got beits fitted so missed out abit with the pictures.
next up i fitted my white camshaft cover so that i had the timing marks for the cams, and then proceeded to fit the new cambelt kit
i also fitted my old white cambelt cover also after the cambelt was all fitted and correctly tensioned
ans thats how it sits atm. my new radiator has arrived so off to fit that now and finish plumbing it in and then fit the dizzy again.
will have another update later!

22.03.2007 - (my 21st birthday!)
today i got it running sweet as a nut!
as the wheels were off the front i decided it would b a good idea to give them a good clean before i put them back on
before -
after -
then removed my front inner arches so that i could sort out my scrubbage problems (good old rusty FK highsports lol)
next was to grind the lip off the wing and plastic arch. the arch and inner arch had already worn away so it was easy to know where to trim
and here it is. there rear cage is now bolted in finally!!

liam - my cage was built for an old corsa so i had to change my rear seat mounts that where on my rear arches
djmartin07 - its alot of blue and grey smoke. blue is oil and the grey is over fueling. will change the oil on sat after work and give it a good flush n if i it seems ok ill give it a good run and see if it clears. if not then im not sure what the problem is but it much be something in the head

mine doesnt have a sunroof. as far as im aware, when you order the cage through mps, they will ask all the relivent questions for your requirements and will build the cage to fit your car

23.03.2007 - fitted both front seats after getting the subframe rewelded where the weld has cracked apart.due to not wanting to waste nemore money onthis engine, even after just rebuilding it, the car wil soon be pulled off the road and the engine removed to make way for the new engine. hopefully i will have this built up soon. just need to get the head stripped and sent off with the block to be acid dipped then i can put the block back together. really hope i can have the engine in and running (poss run in) by pvs!
