Went tothe powder coaters place today to collect my strut back
Went with the knowledge that it was costing me £20 to have it shot blasted and powder coated.
When the chap handed it back to me, i asked how much he wanted for doing it and he said £10 sorted.
Got it back all wrapped up and looking good -

Colour was exactly what id hoped for, also like the finish on it. I asked to not have a high gloss finish on it.

Also sprayed the engine cover bit previous and am very happy at the colour match

Well happy

Woooo, finally got the car lowered and strut brace on

Although i have very little pics of it, hasnt been off the drive since i did it, just been busy doing other stuff.
Proper happy with how the strut brace turned out i think it will look good when i finally get around to cleaning the engine bay properly and polishing things up

Just missed the air box -

but it is catching due to engine movement, so going to see about modding the airbox to accommodate the strut brace (thanks Adam-D and Ste L for help)

No pics of lowered car, but heres the springs aklthough it was lowered in that pic ^

Looks so much better now

Then decided today id fit my illuminated sunvisors that i won on the bay. didnt seem too hard after reading ChrisBoom's tutorial and also getting a bit of help from Chris himself about wiring (thanks )

Before -

During -

Didnt realise at this point i had made a stupid error for some reason i cut the main wire rather short

i managed though.
Got one in -

Then, by the time i finished it was dark anyways so made perfect chance to get some pics, albeit rubbish ones

Quite happy with them aswell, one of them pointless mods, but dont see a point in not doing it either

All for now

They should do, as they are run off the permanent live for the interior light.

Looks good though mate, glad I could help

Springs are Eibach -35mm, whether they are proline or sportline i cant remember.
Yep, they work with the door closed and interior light off, just lifting the cover

Fitted door pins today, considered the chrome Irmscher ones, but decided i preferred these think they look quite neat tbh.

Also, daylight pics of the visors, rewired them since i wasnt happy with how it was done last night, sat and did it all again feel much happier now.

Thats all for today.
