Ek9s are very impressive.
Seen one with minimal mods run 14 sec 1/4 at crail - so maybe its down to the driver.

Never heard so much guff before....
Like alot of people have posted here, phenomenal cars for a 1.6. Handle the road like it's on rail tracks and will easily keep on going to 140.
The jordan, being 20bhp less, I've still managed to keep up with my friends fto (2ltr v6 24v - non mivec, 180bhp) and run a 15.1 on the 1/4 mile at crail. Like the Lipton Iced Tea advert used to say, don't knock it til you've tried it, or at least got half a clue ....

jordan must be a similar speed to a 106gti as thats what i was running in my old std 106gti at the strip

Yes The jordan's been to 134 (on gps). I was under the impression that the ek9 type-r was capable of 140 from what I've read. Correct me if I'm wrong though??
Looking forward to seeing the type-r at crail later in the year Martin btw, I'm jealous
