Update - Day 7:
IT RUNS!! 
And fuck me is it noisy  Solved the problem today by putting the power to the loom on the battery. Whoops 
Turned over 4-5 Times then jumped into life 
Today's objective was to get it back on it's wheels, but had a bit of a disaster and wrecked a inner CV. Won't go into the gearbox now. 
Ordering one of those and a new Balljoint first thing on Monday. It really sucks that it isn't going to touch the ground for another week though 
I'm well glad it's running though!

Update Day 8:
Still no new pictures! Did get it out of the garage today though
Started off early today, went down to Benn's house to pick up an inner CV. Cheers mate! Put that on my shaft and finished building all the shaft/CV's up.
Put the Suspension on, put the brakes on, tightened everything up. Bottom balljoint and steering rack ball joint Tightened. Put the wheels back on!
Had a go at doing the gearlinkage the Adam D way. But it's till stuck in gear! So isn't much good, until we can get it out!
Time to bleed the brakes - Wheels off! Making decent progress now. Started to jack up the back end and the jack slips, the car slides across about 6 inches and falls off it's axle stands  . Had an axle stand under the car that we were using to hold a caliper from touching the ground, ended up through the sump . Fucker 
During all of this i was still sat round the back of the car. So dumb-struck with the fact that my car was now laying on the ground that I didn't make any noise Mates thought I was underneath it, and by the time I crawled round they had lifted the car clean up off the ground Whipped the jack underneath and took a look at the damage. Axle stand through the Sump, but only just! Doesn't appear to have damaged the bottom end, but time will tell that I guess. Oh - £15 worth of oil all over the floor too!
Phone call to twag on here, "Got a sump mate? Yeh? cool! Be over in a bit." 60 mile trip later and we have a sump, whipped it on last thing today, and filled it up with oil. What a cunt though!
Progress to resume next Sunday. Gotta clean my hands now ready for back to the office tomorrow!

Bloody hell Phil - least the damage wasnt too major though and that it runs.
Hope you manage to tweak all the other problems soon matey and get her back out on the road

It runs Stavs  Can't drive it because it's still in gear and don't know how to get it out Figure that out next week! I've revved it though 2k sounds like an earthquake.

Update, She starts, she revs and she goes
One problem - That's all it does do. Go.
The fucker is stuck in gear, and I've spent all day trying to get it out, Plus the thing fouls on the steering rack, and won't come out of 1st.
Can anybody help?
