Not really much of a update.
Order my and got both my external wastegates and blow off valves, both Tial! which are outstanding quailty.
They are both 38mm, My 50mm BOV are coming this week just waiting for the supplier to get the right spring rates in.
There isent much i need now to get the engines together and in, once i get the clutches i think i will get the engines all built up.
Things are going slow as just moved into my new unit and getting that all setup aswell as having the new website made.

would you say that cheaper wastegates have any major diadvantages compared with the likes of tial? i cudnt bare to part with that kind of money which is why i went for a cheaper one. havnt built my engine yet so am unsure of how it will perform.

Which external wastegate have you gone for mate? am i right in thinking a XS power one?
With the cheap jap stuff it seams to go eather 1 of 2 ways. Eather it will leak, collapes in the first 30mins OR it will last a while.
Some are really badly made but look ok to the eye.
I would say to anyone DO NOT try and build a high powered engine on a budjet.

Trust me Colin this will see more tarmac than the V6 thats some of the reason of building the car an not carry on with the V6.
I never use the V6 because of the bodykit really i do not want it to get tatty, the fiberglass the crack, stone chips etc as is stresses me out.
I was offer 2 x BAT Corsa shells when i started this and turned them both down as i wanted a standard car so i can enjoy it without any worries.
This will be at every event, every show there is once finished.
I have a cage mounted video camera so will be loads of clips from when i get the car finished aswell as loads when i take it for mapping
