He will play 20 games for us in a 3 year span 
It would be very interesting to see him play at Man Utd, I would not be dissapointed if we landed Owen... always been an admirer. Newcastle fans would hate him though!

as a man...he is a wanker! We could of sold him for 20mil+ the season before he went, but he kept saying he would sign a new contract and not to worry yet the end of the season comes and we he wants to leave so we only get 8mil. For that he would never be welcome back at Anfield.
As a player...he was fantastic when he first came about. So much pace that defenders couldnt handle him, chased down the ball and worked hard for the team. After his first few injuries he lost some pace, seemed to limit how much work he put in chasing the ball down so not to push himself too much and his finishing became shocking.
Ive no doubt he could score goals with the right team (Newcaslte being about the right level, maybe Spurs too) but for a top club like United you'd be better off getting someone like Eto'o.

Eto'o would be fantastic, but I can't see us meeting Barca's asking price. Around £40m has been rumoured! I can't see fergie doing a jose (shevchenko) We have £50m to spend so realistically my predictions are -
Hargreaves
Defoe/Berbatrov
Richards/Bale
Its going to be a very interesting summer.
Agreed about Owen. Served him right to move to Madrid and Liverpool won the champions league and are in yet another final! I wounder how much Owen regretted that decision?

Hargreaves will be around £20mil. Defoe probably £15mil and Berb would be atleast £25mil considering they dont want him to go. Richards would end up being £15m+ as us and Chelsea are after him too!!

BM should just see sense that he doesnt want to be there, and i think theyll be getting a good amount of money if we pay 17m for him, 20m is a disgrace and i think united will just look elsewhere

Giggs, Scholes/Carrick/Hargreaves, Ronaldo
You need a few decent players for central mid so you can rotate them, especially with Scholes age!!

Yeah, you always have a preferred 4 though. Well, not in Liverpools case, poor players don't know wether they're coming or going

I think its good to have players of the same quality that can step in, not average players a la Richardson etc. I just think it can be disruptive. I suppose if everyone gells though it shouldn't be a problem.
