As mentioned above, the game could be won in midfield, thats why I think he'll start with Alonso and Mascherano in the middle to protect that space infront of the back 4 where Seedorf and Kaka love to roam.
If we can do that and hit them with pace; Kewell, Pennant outwide and Gerrard off probably Kuyt then we'll have a very good chance of winning 
IMO everyone is raving too much about Milan just because they beat Utd 3-0. Dont get me wrong they were good but thats the first time I've seen it and they were pretty terrible at Old Trafford.
Thats just my opinion, so dont slate me for it

I do think the midfield is going to be important, especially how both teams deal with eachothers attacking midfielders. If milan keep it close and slow they will score, end of. We need to batter them with pace and probably will use the wings alot as you say
