Did look cool. I see from a search that you wanted to 1.7 TD it. Looks like a straight swap. Have to get a Corsa 1.5 TD Downpipe though and possibly hoses?

I don't know yet. Primarily it will be used for hauling valeting gear around in Spain. I may just tidy it up and put a couple of subs and an amp in that i have lying around.

Went along to the Garage today to strip the van. I love the way everything comes off so easily, 8, 10 and 13 was all that was needed and afterwards I was left with this.

New wing that arrived the other day.

Back stripped

Front stripped

New front wing fitted

All done! It's being started next week

Will be good to see this done, got one of these at work, excellent for moving stuff!

Do you not think you should treat the rust at the front of the vehicle rather than spraying over it?

I have been waiting for that. Rust will be got rid of before spray. Not too bothered about the front panel for the moment, as and when. I just want to get it finished. I stripped it all down to make the respray cheaper.
Next time you see it, it should be bright orange and with Depo's.

Apparently you can't do that. Had this conversation at length earlier in the topic. 400kg of water should do it though!

k 5ive is there a way of fitting rear corsa shocks and springs to a combo, such as swapping the rear axle over

you need to make up a bracket thats all.

No the shock tops are totally different and in a different place to the corsa. I bought a corsa set and they could not be fitted at the back. Think about it, where the shocks are on a Corsa, if they stayed where they are they would interfere with the load. However Corsa springs could be used as the platforms are still there. But then you would have no load capability. I would love to lower it but don't want to sacrifice it load capability.

Neither can I! As soon as it's finished, I can't wait to get on with my project Yamaha TZR. although is there any such thing as finished with a project like this?

I own a blue 1.7td combo which i have just touched up the paint wet sanded and machine polished.
This thread is really interesting and I am looking forward to seeing the results of the respray!
I wont be going this far with mine but there has already been a massive improvement with it

You need to upload them to a hosting site like photobucket first.
