Was never a sending off in a million years.
Never had any intent what so ever, eyes were on the ball. Fair enough he was a bit late but was more a case of Evras foot following through than him coming down on his foot, see it loads of times in games.
Yellow at most IMO

Happy with liverpools result still a bit miffed we couldn't put some away after the chances. Torres running and positioning looked encouraging. Babbel looked quite good when he came on also.
Other games:
Essiens goal was a bit shit tbh although think they would've gone on anyway to win as it was quite early on he got the winner. Malouda looked good also.
Man utd, no ariel attack, going to miss rooney now also. Woulodn't be too concerned if I was a manc though.
Arsenal looked ok as shearer saisd though the midfield looked a bit weak without gilberto... bit lightweight.
Good first weekend.

gerrards free kick was amazing. probs one of the best ive seen. the thing is, taylor did well to get his hand to the top corner, but it dipped so late, he had no hope. top quality

Unlike Gerrards manly feet stamping, arm flapping antics.

No, was more referring to the fact he wasnt cheating to win the free-kick, he was simply appealing for one after being blocked off, and was down to the ref to decide if the player touched the ball or not.
They are both, however, girly antics!!

you need to get some proper bait then, as thats some poor fishing action there.
Ronaldo doesnt need to do it every week, he is labelled a diver and that'll stick with him now.

fair enough, ronaldo is a pansy at times. atleast i can admit it tho. gerrard players for that freekick then stood still and waved his arms to make sure he would get it. the ref bottled it and wasnt gonna give it till he did that. not a ery good example is it

He didnt play for the freekick as he couldnt force the guy to stick his leg out and block his run. He appealed for a decision that could of gone either way, but thats football.
Yes the guy touched the ball, and Gerrard may or may not of known this, but this shouldnt matter to Gerrard when he appealed for the freekick - it should be down to the Ref to decide if he did touch it or not.

Yeah, def wasnt, the guy got his toe on the ball.
If Gerrard knew this I dont know. If the ref saw this I dont know. But sometimes those get given and other times they dont.
