words escape me at how exciting those pics are. will clean the welds, sand and paint the whole lot maybe this week.
debating doing the removable bit matt black for no reason.

why u not take it down ur local body repair centre and get them to spot weld the plates into place, would have been a million times bette looking for the sake of a couple of mins work and less hassle than miging in..

spot welding looks more factory, is way handier and quicker than welding and grinding.

holes were drilled though the front panel, of which then welded the hole up onto the plate. ie spot welding just with a mig
and generally, if you havent figured it out from the years of posting, im more concerned about what difference something makes to what im doing than how pretty it looks. the fact you dont like the look of it, before its been cleaned and painted doesnt matter. im not out to win show and shine and never will be.

yes but the point im trying to make is spot welding is more original looking and easier.
theres no minus points to it. plus it wont rust the same way mig will
i know how u have done it, i am a panel beater but could have been alot better imo

im a delivery driver, its 100% good enough for me. i havent got the money to take it such places to have such luxury undertaken on 4 small bits of weld.

yes i understand but wot can someone charge you at the end of the day for 5 minutes work, understand tho the hassle of moving the car etc
