check the expiry date you put in. I put the correct one in, but then it changed to the year earlier for some reason!

Yeh it's not the fact I lost £20 that annoys me, just the fact I signed up to a site hoping for my riches which never came I see everyone else with £100-£300 and am jealous lol.

plus the last few days I've just been making small 2 £10 bets a day on the greyhounds and been on a winning streak

Sunday won £52.50, Monday won £50, Tuesday Won £27.50.

So the £20 would've been today's greyhound races

Strangely, you have to enter the first 4 digits, and last 4 digits, of your card number, which is fine. But at the bottom of the page it says this:

"For your protection we only store the first and last 4 digits of your card number. When you confirm a purchase you will be required to enter the middle 8 digits."

I have 10 digits between the first & last 4, not 8 digits as it suggests!

What kind of card is it?!

I know some Mastercards have that, not seen a normal Switch/Maestro have more than 16 though.

It's a HSBC Maestro card. There are 6 digits in the first 'block' of numbers for the card number, if you know what I mean, 6 digits before the gap.
