Only 2 of them played anyway.
That said, they are 2 very big players for us.
We're fucked now.

We have to look at the bigger picture.
If this ensures the long term future of our club then it's a good thing.
Overspending and poor budgeting by our previous criminal board have fucked us up.

Main thing is your recouping some money. Im sure you would rather have a team playing possibly in a lower division than the club go bust and have to start again from some obscure regional division like Scarborough.

Ahh feck. But not much of a surprise at the same time. And we still have some pretty good players - Talbot, Andrews etc.
Still a kick in the knackers though

I don't think all of the last 500 will be available. Players familys/sponsors/club staff have apparently been given paper 'IOU' tickets as the club doesn't yet have all the official tickets in hand, but doesn't want them to miss out on seeing the game. Only going to leave a couple of hundred to supporters now I reckon.
Either way, gonna be a good turn out, regardless of who will be playing

Im guessing that we will put out a really weakened side. Maybe our new defender if he is registered ontime, Agger as he is coming back from injury. Young players like Leto and Insua. Etc.
Or maybe he will have some fun and play a full strength side with Gerrard, Torres and co.

Depends if Rafa does or doesn't want his job, papers can't seem to decide one way or the other at the moment.
Imagine loosing at home to a striken LT, he'd be out before the final whistle

The papers have been stirring things up for months and months, infact they have directed all their attention on Rafa since Mourinho left. The reality is that he is fairly safe in his job. The fans love him, he loves the club and has come out and said he wants to stay for ages, and the fact still remains that even if the yanks wanted him out their is little out there to replace him with!
He'll play a weakened team but have strength on the bench IMO.

Apparently both Talbot and Andrews are in talks with Plymouth and Hull have lodged a bid for Dean Brill.
I predict Luton wont have a team and Liverpool will get a walkover
Bad times

It'll won't be hard game for you, just hope its a good atmosphere TBH.
We'll struggle to get enough players on the pitch at this rate, never mind the bench
WTF has happened to football lately eh, loads of clubs almost bankcrupt left right and centre- sure it never used to be like this

From what I've heard Andrews has been told that it is up to him whether he does or doesn't go - we don't *need* the money for him - the other sales/incomes have tided us over until the end of the season I think.
Up to them isn't it, either way, Blackwell is not happy (as you might expect)....

All the figures I saw (on the Luton Supports club website) said you were losing something like £400k a month, so doubtful it will last you too long!
Not to mention its not just a case of 'tiding you over' as you've gone into Administration and those you have debts with will want some return before things really go tits up.

Only going from what I've been told - not 100% sure on the accuracy, but a reputable source......

The administrators have, in the process of trying to sell the club, looked at the finances and done what they can to reduce outgoings and maximise incoming. Obviously 5 players down now (minimum) will do a good way to reducing this figure, if it was ever true in the first place.

Again, only what I'm told - perhaps poor wording though. Not like HMRC and others are banging at the door for their money back is it else the club would have disappeared already.....
