Any chance you could explane how you did the PAS pump again cos my set up (manual belt driven pump off a Tigra 1.6)has cought fire twice because the pipework had to go behind the manifold and the 'rubber' tubing perished in the heat and pissed fulid all over the maifold just as I pulled into the petrol station!haha

You should have seen the attendants face! Ive fitted a whole new system and double heat wrapped everything but the manifold and im scared it will happen again. How much welding and custom pipework did you have to do?

PS fucking lovely car.

little update, needed more arch work sooooo.... grinder came out and major arch work took place especially on the rear.

first thing was cut the outer skin of the rear quarter as high as possible (level with the highest part of the inner arch.

then cut grooves, fold and re weld the outer skin to the inner skin sealing the body and re gaining strength

heres a pic showing the clearance of the car lowered with no shocks or springs on, as you can see there will be no issues here

next was to weld some rear arch repair pannels on while the car was sitting the lowest it would go with no suspension on. involved some custom trimming and shaping then blending with a layer of fibreglass and filler, also welded a plate over the old filler hole and smoothed that,

more pics to follow but the finish is really good, much wider but still using the standard arch trims with a full lip etc.

thats how you fit 17" mos with toyo r888s and still run a 60-90mm drop!!

other recent updates are....

contacted james at nortech about a new tubular manifold with external wastegate fitting

purchased a 44mm external wastegate

in the process of welding the penny valve up inside my t34 turbo

then with the extra room from having no actuator il be mounting a corsa td rad up front with 2 10" spal fans along with a smaller radiator for a new water system running through the turbo to reduce heat in the engine cooling system.

will also be purchasing an apexi avcr boost controller for abit more precise control.

and upping the boost to around 1.6-1.8 bar which should increase power to around 400bhp.
