was fine even had a very light skim on the head .. didnt check the block to be flat but you assume it would be as i didnt take it apart in the first place for that .. there prob some simple stupid reason why its gone and most prob my fault lol

of course . will prob build engine up with standard turbo and upgrade after .
been thinking about a mapable ecu as my loom is fvcked from oil getting on it and in threory it would be more reliable and better power with one too

may i recommend good quality ecu's such as dta, omex and emerald to you incase you do think about it. tried and tested with most mappers up and down the land.

That goes without saying, am just after an idea for comparison.
And most of the cost of rotary rebuilds is labour. I paid half of the final bill for the last rebuild as it was just out of warranty, parts were £300, labour £900.

im not sure this time round at the mo the least i want is steel rods and low comp pistons so im gonna budget around 2k with all parts gaskets and any machineing work it might need

drove it .. stopped every 20 mile or so to top it up with water ,, the last 1/3 of the jorney i took the coolant cap off to try and stop it forceing water into the oil as it was making a mess of the oil.

a few new parts arrived today , so that means i can rip the engine and box out of it and start the war.
for people that are abit clueless there is new pistons, steel rods , cometic headgasket and a head stud kit ,
