looking ace that mate. very good job
Really does need those tango'd side repeaters to be taken off, and swapped for some smoked ones though.

Pot, kettle, black.
You said others were thinking it.
Looks like a good spay job BTW. Was it done outside? The jury is still out on matt back at the moment, well maybe except for big muscle cars.

with it being matt black does that mean that the paint will get damaged/scratched alot easier since there is no lacquer on it??

jmdsouth - we did my nova matt black...the colour gets dirty pretty quick from the dust, etc and if something rubs against it fairly hard it marks it slightly...bit like a black board...
...but as soon as you clean it with 'autoglym bodywork shampoo and conditioner' it comes out as new so no worries if you like cleaning cars!!
Thanks for the comments guys...will be up for sale very soon with 12 months mot, no tax though...looking around £1500 but we'll see what we get...
...should be finished completly tomorrow...cant wait to take it for that first cruise...gonna be sad to see it go!

Looks cool.
If you're going to put it up for £1500, i would edit you're 1st post, where you say you bought it for £40
I understand the work thats gone into the car, and i like it, nice fresh look to the GSi wheels with that lip.

Looks awesome.
On a side not wash that red corsa in the background on pistonheads recently, it's kinda similar to mine IIRC, smoothed doors/boot & badboy bonnet.

i would freaking love this car
if you get smoked side reps get a bit of fine sandpaper on them and rough em up a tiny bit to make them less shiney and fit in with the bodywork more
