I'm quite interested in this as well, what is the max capacity iPhone? Just I'm due a change of mobile and I quite fancied an iPod Touch so this could could answer both my problems. Also is the £35 contract any good just I'm currently with O2 anyways?

I kind of need to be able to get online if anything urgent needs doing, if it's not going to work right then it's going to cause problems

Yeah, i think im just going to run out the rest of my contract for 7 months
There are talks of new iphones comming out in the summer time, including a new 32GB one.
Theres also going to be 3g, and apparently, features that will make it rival the blackberries with emailing and syncing

Do you need 32gb? I certainly don't!
Slightly better camera, maybe a bit smaller & a faster browser. Thats what it needs

I'm soooo tempted to go and buy one. Just concerned about getting caught. Do they take any details in store?

Caught? What are they going to do? How are they going to catch you?

Like if they take details at the store, then crosscheck your details with their itunes/contract database and if they havent registered you in 3 months, they send you a bill?
Seems all too foolproof for me?

These are now end of line in the uk, ie no or very little stock and not being replaced, ie the new one is coming out.
Unlucky.

So does anyone know if they take any details from you at the O2 store?

Yeah they do, but you take it all away with you, seems pretty stupid but it's true.

Bought one They didn't take any details at all
Ran the activate thing, dead easy to do but I have 2 questions
It says to update to version 1.14? Do I do the prepare to upgrade option & then let Itunes D/L the update? Then unlock again?
Also, where is this thing that lets you add loads of new apps? Can't see it
