Update:

I've been making plans for my respray this weekend. It was due to go in 12/1/09 but as my run around has packed up, it's going in a few day later but hopefully should be ready for the WM meet on 6/2/09. At the moment, the thing that lets my car down a lot is the bodywork. It shocking so I can't wait to have it all sorted. You can't see too well in the pictures but here's just a few things thats wrong with the bodywork and paint:

Rear quarter dented and creased:

Dodgey filler work from previous owner:

Spots of rust everywhere:

Flat paint from windscreen to center of roof from blow over:

Slam panel, bonnet and chassis legs rusted:

Work thats being done:
-All dents removed
-All rust removed
-Rear wiper hole smoothed over
-All inner arches sprayed
-Door handles/boot fob sprayed
-Under bonnet sprayed in gloss
-Bonnet realligned
-All sills, slam panel, inner wings, chassis legs and whole car resprayed in original Smoke Grey paint.

Really can't wait till its done because I think it'll really transform the car and take it one step closer to the show car I want it to be. Watch this space. Cheers for reading.

Yeh its hardly cheap but a mate of mine owns a bodyshop. He's done work on all my cars over the years so I know it'll be 5* plus it's a little cheaper than usual

Update:

Car went in today for a few weeks for the bodywork. I've never been so excited to see the outcome of a car! I'll be getting some pics hopefully of the process so keep checking!

They're not that bad. Only spots. I am having a new slam panel though. Thats the worst of it.

What you mean mate the price? I paid £20 for the two.
Yeh I'm having all original badges on mine.
