Aye im confused

Fad I am thinking hondata k-pro and get it mapped by CPL. Should see 220ish bhp then. Not too much more peak really but mid range goes up 10 fold

Warren not suprised really I was working them hard and they were smoking on a few occasions

Next time I have the wheels off I will check the pads. Still seem to be working fine though

Started on the bodywork today.

Gave it a wash down and you could see that it was a bit of a mess

Then got the clay bar out and went over the whole car with it. Which made it feel nice and smooth and the clay ended up filthy so it must have done some good

I then did the megulairs three step clean on it with the paint cleaner, polish and wax.

Its still by no means perfect but better

Going to look into getting it done properly with a machine polisher but need to find someone local that does it first.

Cleaned up the inside too

Mats were a bit filth from all the salt and mud that had been walked into the car over the winter. So got the wet vacume cleaner out and they looked better

Before

After

Will get some decent pics off the full car in a nice location when I have some more time

Looks good mate. I think you'd get an even better finish with slightly better products though, the Megs 3 Stage isn't great imo.

Try Clearkote Vanilla or Red Moose Glaze then a decent wax, Collinite or Dodo Juice, you'll be amazed how much better it'll look.

Progress on mine is slow at the minute, I'm working 80 hour weeks and not got time to do anything with it. On the plus side I'm getting plenty of money put away for when I've got more time on my hands. I think its due new pads all round so going to have a look see whats available.

Yer I know the megs isnt great and its alot of work for not a lot of gain

Although if its in the shed I might as well use it

Think my best bet is to pay someone who they knows what they are doing to sort it and then I can just keep on top of it.

I know the feeling of the work this is the first time I have had some time to do what ever I want in ages

Would definatly recomend the ferodo ds2500 pads. As good as standard in every way possible and have the plus of not fading at all. only downer is alot of brake dust

Just a few new pics I have got of it and a few little updates and issues

One of my alloys had a slight buckle in it so I set out to get a replacement all was going well until I realised the wheels I got now dont match mine turns out honda changed the paint code a few times throughout the manufacturing period of the CTR

So the spare set that I have off of the car I am tempted to get powder coated and refurbed. Not sure What colour to go with though either white or a slightly darker shade of grey.

Problem

Still need to pull my finger out and get my goodridge hoses and camber bolts fitted

Thanks to a heads up from OJC I found my car had made it into a magazine

Also gave it another quick clean and got some pics

That Clay bar did a good job!

Also if you want that buckle in your wheel repaired my mate is a wheel refurber and would be able to do it no probs He is much cheaper than most places.

Might be tempted. Just I have always been a bit suspect on straightening out wheels just incase it weakens them
