I know i lost so much money on it, part of me wishes i didnt sell it but its happened and i have to go by what my parents say at the end of the day, they wanted it gone, and they didnt want me to drive it as I would kill myself.
Was looking at a mk4 Astra 1.8 16v SXi, but got in one and to be honest it didn't do anything for me at all, and cannot justify spending £3k on one.
My Old man is near enough forcing me to buy his mk4 1.6 astra off him, but I really do not like the car at all, again it doesnt do anything for me, its a write off and its done 107k miles.
So for the time being Im just gonna stick with the green one.

Well its not over yet, yes the Turbo is still sold and goes next Thursday.
But Ive been offered a new shell, it is a P reg sport in Black again 1.4 16v with full Janspeed Exhaust, lowered and some cheap alloys, hes selling it for 650 due to having his mint nova back on the road which hes just fitted an XE into.
He said to me that the shell is mint same with bodywork and he wouldnt have bought it otherwise, so going by his word I will be going to see it soon.
So hopefully will be looking at that soon and will update soon with what happens and maybe some pictures
Plan is to stick with the 1.4 for abit, then once more funds and no cliams come along then I will have the LET Conversion done, but with more chassis and suspension work, and a better spec engine
Cheers

Yes, Im not planning on doing another LET Conversion for a while yet though, yes it sounds silly when you look at it that way, but Im not rich and cant afford 3 cars sitting there, so one has to go, so if I do buy this sport I will use it abit and gradually change it to how i want it over a long period.
pow - too late mate the deal is done

UPDATE 29/11/08
Well picked this up this morning, I had looked at a few shells and must say even though this is the same year as the Turbo it is so much minter, we had a very good look at the underside and it is mint, no signs of rust anywhere, not even on the bodywork itself.
Well this is the 6th Corsa I have had now, and its the 4th Black one
Its a 1996 Sport, X14XE, with full Janspeed Exhaust and lowered 40mm but I will be going lower.
It was coming with white corsa c sri alloys and coil overs but he wanted to keep them for his Nova so I got it for alot less than he wanted.
Anyway pictures...
Excuse the cheapo wheels, they are only on until I get the BBS's back in white.
Thats it for now, more updates soon

Glad you liked it
Well I didn't put it there and tbh I will be fitting a new wiring kit in there properly if I do fit some sort of install.
