the only negative I have with this game is the power of the shotgun in MP
I agree that the shotgun in gears 1 was way too powerful but the new shotgun is pants... so pants that I tend to get ripped to bits when someone comes at me with a chainsaw!

River is the easiest map to do Horde one, done all 50 lvl's twice on that map with ease.
Yes, the Hammer of Dawn DOES have a limit on it for Horde.
I haven't managed to find a MP match all day

Kicked ass too 9 -2 and we destroyed the COG team 4-1

been hammering the campaign fir the past 2 hours and am loving it
got the flashback map pack on download whilst i watch top gear and will be back on it then

some tips i've learnt today
1) MP is so much quicker if you start off with a party of 5. Yesterday I was playing on my tod and found that it took ages to find a MP match. Today I was in a party of 5 and was matched with a team straight away. I guess it doesnt have to mess about matching you up with other people to form a team
2) On MP, Shotgun on Gears 2 works best by aiming to gun with left trigger (just like you would do with the lancer) instead of the Gears 1 technique of trying to 'blind fire' shoot

havent got there yet no spoilers please
the one thing i get annoyed with is the few people who run at you with the chainsaw revving, fair ebough if you can get up to me but why do some people run the map with the fucking thing going?
it gets used alot more maybe a bit much.
i find that everyones aiming with the shotty now, which is good cus it means you dont get the randomness of the blindfire, i think epic intended this cus as they say its a cover shooter not a roll and shotgun game
all in all i am adicted but seriously need to get on eith the campaign,
oh and why do people need to boost achievments? theres vids on youtube of seriously already it defeats the object,

Play Horde and campaign plenty of times and 100,000 kills will come real quick.
