if i was a salesman and polished bliss came to check out a lovely new limited edition car i was selling that had a long waiting list, then started getting paint gauges and other gadgets out then started trying to get discounts on a perfectly good car id tell them to GTF!

then sell it for full price to someone normal

You are missing the point totally though, regardless of how it looks it DOES NOT drive as well on the 19's, the difference between my Arden one and the Nurburgring is quite a difference. It turns in sharper, it grips harder, steering is more accurate and doesn't tramline like it did on 19's.

I don't think the Nurburgring looks as good on the 19's, infact I think the wheels don't suit it at all.

And even if the wheels look shit, they are still expensive lightweight ATS wheels from Germany, not fucking ebay copies that someone knocked up in their shed.

Why is everyone on here these days a miserable twat hoping to get one over somebody else?

ATS Competitions wheel alone are £95 quid each for 7.5x17, the Astra has 18's with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres, how much? £900? Cheap? No.

I just found them for £545 with shite 215 tyres from Rochford Tyres.

I really don't like the 'Ring edition on 19's, doesn't look right at all. Looks fake and more like a normal Astra. Needs motorsport rims on there.

£900 for 19" alloys with tyres IS cheap though. Calm down a bit.

Oh, that "red VXR" is Aussies, and those shots were taken over a year ago.

And yes 19"s don't handle as well as 18"s, but for 95% of drivers, most wouldn't be able to make use of the extra difference, and its not THAT bad really. Just a bit more wallow and a bit slower to turn in.

I'd say 19"s effect the car worse on the road than on a racetrack over 18"s.

I noticed a different straight away, Rach who rarely drives the car in anger noticed it on the test drive how much easier it was to drive with the 18's

Everyone on VXRonline is now ditching the 19's and switching to Revolutions or Pro Race 1.2's in 18"
