i like the van idea. could always get some vinyl made up the same colour as the car and stick it over the windows to see if you like it to start with??

Was going to say, why did you opt for the C2 vts engine, obviously newer but arent they the same bhp?125? or did you get it at a good price, good engine non the less. Make sure you keep us updated with pics and that mate

You have to run gti management on them

two of my mates have done them

Standard gti engine with breather mods 135 bhp mine was r/r at
my mates jp4 with breather mods and jp4 cams 134bhp
another mates with same mods and j4 cams (GTI) 137bhp

Their newer, alot less miles (26k mines got) and a better big valve head

£280 for a 26k engine isnt bad

But you do have to convert the engine to take all the gti bits

Drill and tap the head to take the GTI inlet
Blank off a few holes you get extra that you dont need
GTI sump
GTI sensors
etc etc

280 is a steal mate, do you drive this more than your corsa now then?

You should go down the tb'd or turbo'd route, the pug1off conversions can see 250bhp easily, obvioulsy I bet you could do it yourself but maybe worth a though, would handle a lot better than the corsa for sure
