hi mate

Im not sure what bulbs the morrette lamps use sorry. its best to double check the ones already fitted to the headlights or sometimes they are stamped on the back of the light, this just ensures the correct ones get ordered as they are after market lights.

So it uses the standard h4 hi/low bulb that is originally in the corsa head lights? So it doesnt now use 2 different bulbs, 1 for high and 1 for low beam?

right ok

So the inner lamps are for side lights and the outer lamps are for high and low(main driving) light. And when you flash the out lamp is used i guess. If it is the H4 that it uses it is £80 delivered for a kit.

i only have 1 lamp. side lights high and low all in one lamp want a slight blue tinge to them

Ok cool. The best ones to go for would be H4 in 6000k as they are slightly blue but still legal. As long as the lights use the standard fitting h4 bulbs then these kits are just plug and play

Hi mate

Yes that is correct, H7 bulbs are to be used with projector lights and H7R bulbs are to be used with reflector lights, They are used to stop the light relecting to much so that you get the best performance when using them with reflector lights. The price for H7R bulbs is an extra £2 so £67 for a slim ballast H7R kit.

Hi mate

You can order a kit with any colour bulbs. All that changes is the bulbs. The ballasts are the same for all kits.

i believe it is H4 hi/low, the same as standard corsa bulbs. Might be worth checking on the lights itself to double check.

hey MJ

i need a kit for a 1994 cavalier the lights are shocking on the back road so looking for a kit

can you explain what the balast actually does? if i look at the mrs corsa c i got some cheap bulbs off ebay and there bright as hell light up the road fine i got same bulbs for the cavalier and there poop so im gueesing ita the wiring or the power from the old car to the new car or somethign ive got the cash to get a kit i just want to know what im buying first

Hi mate

thanks for the interest. The ballst is there to up the voltage so that the HID bulb can function correctly. 240v i think. There is alot of difference in the performance between halogen and HIDS bulbs. It also depends on the type of lights fitted. many new cars now use projector lights to make the light beam more direct. i also find using some tcut and wax on the head lights also improves the performance.

Is there any form of kit that can do both H1 and H7? As my accord uses H7 for dip, H1 for high beam. Would like to have both as HID's rather than just one.

Hi mate

You would need 2 kits for that so £65 each and 4 ballasts to fit somewhere

Really a HID kit is not always best for high beam, as there is a delay in the bulbs as they charge up, so you might flash but other drivers will not see them as they bulbs charge up. It is fine for H4 kits as a metal slider is used for high beam. But it is really up to you.
