The fact he is not wanted at Rangers doesn't help matters

Big hint that Rafa may be going for Tevez

I want to sign Tevez to really piss the mancs off, and to watch them back track and say they never wanted him anyway. He is a decent player too.
But at the end of the day, he doesnt score many goals. He is basically another Kuyt - works hard for the team, wont stop runnng, but doesnt score too many. And going by this season Kuyt scores more and sets up a lot more.
If he is going to spend big Id rather he get someone who can cover for Torres if he isnt in form or out of the team. Tevez is not that signing.

Barry Ferguson is past his best, and a move to WBA in the championship is a bad move for him. He would be better off retiring
Also, |Rangers got two games in Europe this year

What about Berbatov? Nani? Anderson? (I actually think he is but he's been a bench warmer) Manucho? Hargreaves? The millions of keepers you went through until you found VDS?

Back to the same old subject, benitez's spending has been much the same as fergies since he started.
Nani didn't work out, not good enough, anderson is a fantastic player, struggled with injuries this year, berbatov is a lazy cunt but you can see his class, and he's scored and setup his fair share
Manucho only young, prob's more of a marketing signing, harsh to comment on hargreaves considering he's had two operations and was out for the season before it started

Benitez's spending is the same because Fergie already had a winning squad under him.
The year before Rafa joined us you spent over £12m on Ronaldo, nearly £13m on Saha, £6m on Kleberson (flop), £7m each on Alan Smith (flop) and Heinze. As well as wasting over £5.5m on Bellion and Djemba-Djemba.
Year before that you spent £30m on Rio.
Year before that £20m on RVN, £28m on Veron, £7.5m on Forlan.
See where Im going with that?!

Excuses Excuses, veron was a brilliant player, just couldnt do it in the prem.
Forlan the same, right at top of goalscorers table every year in spain
20million on RVN was a bargain tbh
I get bored going into all the crap liverpool have signed in the last 5 years.
Anyway, it's just an excuse liverpool fans can hide behind, and more so the manager. Suppose thats a problem when competing against big clubs who spend within their means (before the yankees) even now the debt is manageable

I wasnt saying those players were flops, or expensive. I was pointing out that Fergie had a great squad when Rafa got our job, hence the spending difference.
Anyway, that comment above is amazing. Your debt in manageable? You mean the debt that you cannot pay off and roll it over year on year?
Fucking LOL.

Berbatov - Waste of money
Nani - Worth half what we paid, look what we paid for Park and hes awesome.
Anderson - Worth every penny. Not everyone is a goal scorer.
Manucho - Don't even know if we paid for him!
Hargreaves - Obviously over priced but thats because BM knew how much we wanted him. Still, he wasn't that much over his true value. Hes another Owen for injuries though.

Hes 26!! Don't know why people refer to him as a youngster!
His goal scoring at Benfica and Panathinaikos shows the quality he has. Doubt he will ever be a starter for us. Not Premier League material.
