Good news, phoned the insurance again, spoke to a different person about buying it back. He says thats fine, he cancelled the salvage request on it, so I just gotta get it back to mine. Dont know how much its going to cost me though, he says £200 max, but id say much less than that for an N-reg 106.
Serious strippage then.

If you're stripping it then its actually better if they categorise it higher, ie. B as opposed to C or D as they're generally cheaper to buy back. I think you need a licence to buy other peoples' salvage at cat B, not sure if you do for your own car.
It might be that they originally categorised it as B then reduced that to C to legally sell it to you.
Looks like you had a good go at the strip anyway, not sure if they would approve while its their car now not yours!!

Theres wheel couriers on ebay, will be cheaper as its only 4 wheels rather than 4 wheels and tyres too.

Doors were both badly damaged, all that was left really was the boot and windows, but its unlikely they will sell tbh.

Ah fair play, I can't wait to see my neighbours reaction when a car is on it's side outside my garage getting stripped
