yeah did the usual thing of stopping services/programs from startup, they had MS SQL server installed but not needed so i thought ahh thats the puppy, disabled it still no love, sits there for fucking AGES until you can use it.
Dave - you cant bring up task manager up during the 15 minutes wait.

theres only 1 thing for it, start the machine 15 minutes before you need to use it

problem with that is he needs to find the restore/OS cds, otherwise I need to have a offline discussion with him on how we can obtain a copy
