nearly forgot,

I cant see them beating us. This defeat wont help them mentally and neither will losing one half of their team tonight

i know cant see them getting a result either(fingers crossed and all that) just saying if they do it will be a real case of having to raise their game against a big team

Fucking dogshite. Players had to step up tonight and they didnt. Some of them are showing their true colours and wont be in a red shirt too much longer.

Rafa isnt blame free in all this either - I dont understand why he changed the system last week when the team was playing so poorly and the best players were all out. Thats not the time to do it. And I dont understand why he waiting to change it tonight until 83mins or so when it was clear Ngog was utterly fucked - and then he brought Voronin on instead of the pace of Babel.

Still, its only a blip. You dont play above your level for a whole season, especially when your two best players were out for large parts, as some are suggesting. CL qualification is still in our own hands. And not exactly miles behind in the league given so much of it is left to go.

Get Torres, Gerrard, Johnson and Aquilani back in the team and thats probably our 4 best players back (thats if Aquilani steps up to the level he is meant to be).

Time will tell, but Im not worried JUST yet.

Luton 1-1 York

We maybe should've nicked it at the end, but the way York played first half a draw is probably a fair result.

Nice to meet you again Jonny. And at a game actually involving York this time

You were shit last year and still finished second in your group. You'll easily qualify for knockouts.

Be nice to see you finish 3rd however

Qualifying for the knockout stage now is going to be very difficult, i don't think you'll beat lyon in lyon so definately up against it imo

Yes but if torres is injured they may be able to handle your league 2 strikers pretty easily
