I had one of these for a short while. Was a cool little car, just the front shocks are a pain to change. And for a four speed, it was pretty nippy and was super economical compared to my Tigra.

Cheers, can't get on that site as I'm not a member, got wheels sorted(ish) anyway. Been talking to the lad who owns Weller steels now and he said he hopes to have the 7Js ready for sale by the end of January

Good luck with getting it that low! The chassis on them hang really low.

Also, the front track is wider than the rear, so the front's will stick out more than the rear. Just some info for you

Its not impossible,

Realistically I'd be happy with it around this height,

Going to get a PhilJ 60/40 kit though for the first lowering stage

Do you know what the best offset is for the MK3 Jimmy? And could I get 7Js on the front if they were the correct offset?

Got a couple of bits from the Royal fail today,

Got my dice valve caps with an engraved VW logo

Might keep them and fit them when I get my 'proper' wheels knowing me I'll probably fit them anyway

And got my silvertec indicator bulbs to get rid of the 'fried egg look'.
