Plenty more fish in the sea
Time is a great healer
Have a wank
Go fuck a skank
Play x box with your mates
Don't sulk alone in your room

Think that's all the bases covered.

Time isn't a healer. That is nonsense. It's your ability to change your life and how you react to loosing someone you thought loved you.

You've got to help yourself Ollie, but at the first weekend (she ditched me on a friday) I was lost on things to do, absolutly lost! Kept thinking about her, I'd drive anywhere and all I'd do i think about her.

Now, I'm getting better. I spend less time thinking about her, more time devoted to me

Also been spending some time with my Dad (I live at home) which has been nice

if reginald takes 1 week to change his life and doesnt react too badly but then Reynard takes 2 years to change his life and reacts badly then surley time is a measure and thus elapsed time is a healer in some cases?

As much as I agree with Ollie that you have to pick yourself up and dust yourself off and get going again, time is a bit of a natural healer.

I find keeping busy help. No intention of going out and meeting someone new, rebound stuff doesn't work. A hobby helps, one of the times I'm glad I have 6 horses, they're keeping me busy and volunteering for overtime at work etc

Haven't read any replies to this yet so sorry if i'm repeating anything.

Why don't you hit the gym? Or do something else constructive with your time. Also, catch up with mates, go out and enjoy yourself.

I split up with my bird of 2 and half years, about 3 years ago. She moved to wales 2 years after we had been together and was just too much. Was hard obvo. Havent spoken to or seen her since we broke up. Then a couple of months ago she added me to facebook, thought fuck it and accepcted. Has small pointless chats every now and then. But then last monday she was down and we met up for a drink. Was really strange seeing her after all that time :/

spend the money for her xmas present on an absolute shitter of a car, and just fiddle man, that passes the time for me so easily, just messing about, make it into a banger car or something, and it wont have cost you any more than when you were with her. but it'll make it one hell of alot eaier and occupy your time

the best thing you can do is get out, and put it about

Before you know it you'll be onto new things and not thinking about whats her chops.

My advise is based on experience and my experience is that most women are fucking trouble, they hassle the fuck out of you, they take your weak mates away from you ( ) and they generally cause drama.

I praise the lord Hallalujah I've met the one girl that is non of the above.

But I blame most relationship breakups on blokes being wishy washy with girls, updating FB every 30 seconds telling everyone how much they love their missus and then when they do meet this so called girl of their dreams they fuck off everyone else and all their hobbies and interests just to spend every moment of their lives with their missus.

Worst mistake ever, I learnt this was wrong way to go about things at 15 years of age.

Balance is the key.

exfuckingactly. women needs a man to be a man, its all well and good being friends with your girlfriend but it makes me sick when i hear a blokes voice go up three octaves when they speak to their girlfriend and come out with words like "hiya". that shit will get you dumped.

be a cunt, in moderation

keep yourself buisy and dont let your mind wander onto any subject that might remind you of her.

go out with your friends and have a laugh, and grab a few lasses numbers when your out even if its just for a drink its new people and you never know

everything happens for a reason you never know in a few months time you might end up meating some lass who knocks your socs off..
