I always used to get excited with my expense claims, unless you do astronomical mileage though its not really worth it My expenses for that last few weeks have been about £400, however when I think i have probably spent £200 on fuel and another £15 - 75 on spare parts, food, taking a client out for lunch etc it means i ussually see anything extra in my pocket
but do you not get like 60p/mile? and claim everything else with reciepts.?
No down to 20p now, the place i work i get 44p for the first 10k, 32p for the 2nd 10k then down to 20p thereon. Claim everything else with receipts but doesnt mean i make any money on it. Whereas in the old days where my company used to pay out 48p per mile for as many miles as you did, I was racking it in

I only get 20p a mile, if I want the other 20p a mile I need to claim it via self assessment & thats a royal pain in the hoop & I dont do uber mileage anyway so fuckit!
