I've taken a pic of this cat before, but it was either this or another car pic Plus this pic is better than the last imo and much clearer after being taken with the SLR.

Cheers Mike, yeah that's because I was extremely tired and erased the camera with a 300 dia. brush with a soft edge so it's showing through from the layer below
Yeah mate it's going well Tried a couple of pics last night on full manual mode Some came out quite well It has a bar thing that tells you if it will be too bright or too dark which helps a lot, then you just need to adjust the shutter speed and aperture to get the sort of pic you want.

After picking something up and accidentally spilling dominoes all over the floor, I decided that I wanted to take a pic of dominoes falling over I never thought it would be so hard to get the timing right!

I fancied making something today so thought I'd try some simple origami. At least the website said it was simple! They're big fat liars because I tried it twice and my sister had a go and this is what we ended up with
PP: Auto levels, auto colour, increased saturation.

First one to come from the compact in a few days! I was walking through the village again at lunch and liked the colours of this, plus it can be compared to the snowy one I took last month. I also wanted an outdoor pic

Dave, find a better background for 34 and I think that has the potential for a good photo!

This is something I've been meaning to try for a while, not completely pleased with it so may try again at some point. Didn't manage to get the shot I wanted due to environmental constraints.

Went PP to the max on this one Basically saw this the other night coming from a glass of water that was near my bedside light, and decided it would make a good pic for one day
PP: Duplicated layer twice, smart sharpened one at back; erased part of middle layer for rainbow to shine through, lowered saturation, increased contrast, decreased brightness; elliptical marquee on frontmost layer, inverted selection, decreased brightness, altered output levels, softened edges with massive soft edged brush.
