Cosmo, you are god

Manchester United could cash in on star striker Wayne Rooney to help ease the club's debts. Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are considering £70m bids for the England international.

Gotta spend money to make money

TBH if its true you wouldn't get much for your money as other clubs cotton on to it and massively inflate the prices of their players like anyone dealing with Man City did

I'd be more concerned about the £10m the Glazers are paying themselves a year and the further £10m they're borrowing against the club TBH Matty G

THIS can't be good for Fergies blood pressure (or indeed it seems your FANS ). It seems Tevez wasn't good value for money/worth talking to.

Didn't Tevez end up costing City about £30m though?

Thats what they paid for that useless arse Berbatov.

That was Fergies stubboness once again, he believes he is the most important man in the club and goes and looses someone that could have made a difference this season.

Fergie needs to retire, he has lost his marbles.

I think it was reported that United could have had him for £25m, regardless and as pointed out by olleth he's a better player than berbatov.

Nothing I can do about it so I dont really worry about any of this financial malarkey. Its just numbers to me although unfortunately the numbers can affect who we do or dont buy!

How you can let a player go with the workrate of tevez and keep berbatov is past me. Complete stupidity.

Yes, its a pisstake.

Berbatov looked like a good buy. Now hes been played just to justify his price tag/wages.

Berbatov was only any good at spurs when partnered with Keane, he was still a lazy shit though!

Fergie didnt like being told what to do by the fans with regards to Tevez and he has right royally fuck that one up.

Berbatov or run all day Tevez? No brainer to everyone but the twat in charge of United.

Irrelvant if he's better. It wasn't a choice between Berba or Tevez. They had already splashed the cash for Berba.

And also lets not forget Tevez scored about 5 goals in a year for United. People are only jumping on this bandwagon because of his hot streak.

Because tevez is a poors mans rooney who scores even less goals

Berbatov is a classy footballer, being used in the wrong way

I would take berbatov all day over tevez if we had a striker to play him off

Tevez made his choice, not fergie, tevez was offered 120k a week and we offered 25 million, he went to city for more money and more regular football because he didn't have it in him to fight for a place at a big club
