yeah it is inside the calendar thing l:

on other news.... seat have just called and.....

apparently
- Rear suspension strut is leaking fluid,
- Wishbone bushes are worn/perished
- Pads + Disks (front) are 75% worn
- Front Tyres are barely legal (only been on <6months to my knowledge)
- Front ARB cracked + bushes worn
- Vaccum pipe split.
- wipers arent clearing windows properly

guesses as to how much that is going cost (excluding tyres)

oh and none of the above was picked up on the mot/service which was two weeks ago

too much.

replace the rear strut yourself, get some polyflex bushes, new thicker ARB, tape over the vaccum pipe and get new wipers

Wishbones are common and not too big a job to do yourself can get them cheap off egay with new ball joints.
Strut is cheapish.
wipers are a few £ from tesco.
ARB is a pain in the arse to do as involves dropping the sub frame i think
Discs + pads are easy
as will said eleccy tape the vac pipe

all in all Seat want £650 + VAT?

Reckon it could be all be done for under 3 maybe even 200 is you go budget stylee

£730 to fix it not including tyres.

Willay - the thing is i dont believe the mot was done properly as all these noises/problems were there then hence why i asked them to check it when it was in but they couldnt see anything wrong with it so im going to ask them for stuff with it on so i can go back to them and ask them why none of this was picked up then.

I know it could be done cheaper and more budget stylee but after this i dont overly trust my normal garage as they never picked any of this up, admittedly yes the dealer could be making half this up but it seems to fit in with the noises and problems i've been having so ill just let them fix it as at the moment i trust them more than the normal place lol.
