uk scoobs are shit, but only if there std. ive not had a race with a xe corsa in my golf but my bro did in his ibiza and it kept up with him alot easier than I thought it would yet the ibiza from a rolling start humped a scoob uk turbo

I've seen off a hawk eye WRX in the rain on the motorway. Guy didn't look too competant though.

Over a 1/4 mile there was 0.4 secs between my golf (200 bhp and 225 lb/ft) and my redtop.

my personal best ever quarter mile with my xe was a 14.6 at 96 mph. Completely standard xe and full interior. This was faster than a mates 230bhp ibiza on strip and road.

mainly EP3 type R's, Clio 172's and similar I had fun with back in the day. Great fun was had with larger hatches also.
I had a play with a UK Imprezza on the m25 and hit the limiter whilst he was still pulling away from me so I am with Seth on this one.

probably. although the lambo i mashed the throttle pedal down against deffo was a lambo. wasnt a 1.0 replica.

well lets be honest. back when some of us had xe's which was many years ago. a std uk impreza wasnt exactly that quick from a rolling start was it.

conditions of cars are always going to vary i guess, as are peoples driving skills, i have no dought that there are exceptions either way on the subject of xe vs impreza

well whats a uk impreza classic shape? 170bhp per tonne? and a corsa xe is probably about the same perhaps more bhp/tonne if you put engine into a base model.
the maths dont lie. there are no exceptions to maths.

very true mate. alot depends on the driver of each car to. once i had a prat in a 06 hyundai coupe 2.0 16v he pulled nxt to me and was egging me on so floored it then looked in my rear veiw mirror and he'd pulled back in he had no chance
